Winners Revealed: 2016 Student Photo Contest

Written by Brightspark Travel

Brightspark Travel is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2016 Student Photo Contest. Winners were chosen by a panel of Brightspark elected judges and voted upon by the entire Brightspark Travel staff for the top three favorite photos. This year, like every year, we received several outstanding tour photos taken by talented students, and we’re sure you’ll enjoy checking them out!

In no particular order, here are the top four honorable mentions:

Honorable Mention: A remarkable shot captured of students living in the moment on their New York City tour. We love how happy and candid this photo is.

Honorable Mention: Such a fantastic picture of three students in front of the White House holding signs with such admirable words. Well done!

Honorable Mention: We received a unique black and white image taken at the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., which certainly grabbed our attention. We respect how this photo explores a different type of photography that is unlike anything we've seen before.

Honorable Mention: This eye-catching photo of a student taking in the views while on tour. We love Washington, D.C. during cherry blossom season.

And now on to our top three finalists … *drum roll please* ...

Third Place: This photo stood out as a front-runner right away. We love how this photo captures the energy and excitement of Times Square in New York City.

Second Place: Second place was given to this artistic photo, capturing another student taking in the stunning views while traveling abroad in Italy.

First Place: This incredible shot truly shows the excitement of being on a Brightspark tour. This group was having fun waving to a helicopter flying over the Washington Monument.

Congratulations to our winners! We’ll be in touch with you shortly so you can claim your prize. Thanks to everyone who submitted photos and shared their tour experience with us.
