Brightspark Travel is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2016 Group Leader Photo Contest. Winners were chosen by a panel of Brightspark elected judges and voted upon by the entire Brightspark Travel staff for the top three favorite photos. This year, like every year, we received several outstanding tour photos taken by talented teachers and chaperones, and we’re sure you’ll enjoy checking them out!

In no particular order, here are the top four honorable mentions:

Honorable Mention: Jada M. captured what it’s like to take in the amazing view of the World War II Memorial and the Washington Monument while on their Washington, D.C. tour. We like the fun colors of the shoes and appreciate the unique angle of this shot.

Honorable Mention: Emily B. snapped a shot of the famous Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. We love how it captures the students walking in the reflection.

And now on to our top three finalists … *drum roll please* ...

Third Place: David G. won third place with his candid picture of the group listening to a speaker at the Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum while on tour. We appreciate this shot as it shows the students absorbing information in a new atmosphere.

Second Place: Joseph P. took second place with his fantastic group shot on the beach. We feel that this photo captures the beauty of Greece the students got to experience during their international tour.

First Place: Kathleen S. had an overwhelming number of votes for her winning photo. What an incredible shot of this senior student standing in front of a picture of Oprah, one of our world’s greatest role models. This picture shouts happiness and good vibes, and we love that!
