Band Uses Pyware to Prep for Performance at Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl

Written by Brightspark Travel

Band Director Ron Lambert tells us how he uses Pyware software to help his marching band prepare for national marching band events such as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl!

"We have used Pyware software here at Lakewood Ranch High School since 1998," Lambert said. "It has been a huge part of the overall success of our marching band, indoor guard and percussion programs."

The Marching Mustangs have now been a FMBC 4A State Finalist for five years in a row, and for nine of the last eleven years. Pyware provides tools to organize rehearsals, helps keep the students current with re-writes and additions, and most importantly, model through animation. The ability for every student to see their individual responsibility within the overall picture greatly enhances their awareness and steepens the learning curve. The marching band is able to accomplish more in less time.

Director Ron Lambert featured their 2015 production “Siren” at the 2016 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. It was conceived using many of the high-end features like personalized animation, multi-camera angles and integration with CHARMS management software. Pyware software brings the Mustang stampede to life! The band received the Grand Champion award for the field show festival at the 2016 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
