Teach Magna Carta's 800 Year Legacy with Our Timeline

Written by Brightspark Travel

One of the four surviving originals of Magna Carta is located in the cathedral town of Lincoln, England. Home to a medieval village, a castle and one of England’s most impressive cathedrals, Lincoln comes alive this year as it celebrates Magna Carta’s 800th anniversary.

We teamed up with an expert from the Lincoln Cathedral to create a timeline showing the evolution and influence of this important document over the last 800 years. It is difficult to imagine the Western world without individuals’ rights and limitations to a leader’s powers.  Pay tribute to the document that started it all by sharing this teaching tool with your students.
