The best way to wrap up the school year is spending a day at Disneyland with fellow teachers. On Saturday, June 20th, nearly 50 teachers came for a tour of Disneyland Park in Anaheim, where they learned about Disney’s Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) programs. Organized by Brightspark Travel’s newly-opened Los Angeles office, this tour attracted teachers from throughout the entire state of California.
To begin the tour, our Disney guest coordinator told us an inspirational story of Walt Disney and the magic of his creative worldview. This was soon followed with our first activity: designing our own Disney story. We were dared to think outside the box, drawing inspirations from our surroundings. We continued to participate in a variety of leadership and teambuilding activities that immersed teachers in the legacy of Walt Disney.

During lunch, teachers had the opportunity to learn more about the Disney YES programs and meet Brightspark Travel’s California team. Afterwards, teachers spent the afternoon exploring the parks of Disneyland and riding the rides.
